Show your solidarity with Palestinians
For three years now, the Eurovision Song Contest has ignored an ongoing genocide committed by one of its participant countries. There is a blatant double standard at play. Russia is banned. Israel continues to be allowed.
This year, Ireland isn’t taking part. This is the right thing to do. But we can do more.
So this year, we’re reclaiming what Europe should stand for: a just, peaceful, and caring world. We’re showing Palestinians that we continue to stand with them.

Instead of watching the finals, let’s set up alternative nights of solidarity. Gather your friends together for a night of karaoke. Organise a paint night with Palestinian music, using the colouring sheets in our free solidarity kit below.
Share your alternative nights online, tagging us @ActionAidIreland and using the hashtag #MyEuroVisionIs.
Let’s show the rest of Europe that we won’t tolerate genocide being ignored. Let’s show Palestinians that they’re not forgotten. Your action counts.
