ActionAid Ireland said today that a partner organisation in Gaza has been forced to evacuate and relocate within Gaza due to an escalation of Israeli activity. ActionAid said the charity WEFAQ, which has been supporting people – particularly women and their families –  who have been displaced by war, has evacuated from the MAAN Community.....

On World Humanitarian Day, ActionAid Ireland has called for better protection of aid workers who risk their lives daily to serve their communities, especially across war torn Gaza. ActionAid Ireland CEO, Karol Balfe, said  courageous aid workers in Gaza are continuing to provide lifesaving aid every day, despite facing relentless bombardment and the loss of loved ones.....

ActionAid Ireland today said it is outraged and heartbroken by the staggering loss of 40,000 lives in Gaza, 72 per cent of that figure women and children.
