Event: Women, Conflict, and the Middle East: Agents of Change
Join ActionAid Ireland evening event on the 6th of March 2025
“Women, Conflict, and the Middle East: Agents of Change” will highlight the disproportionate impact that conflict has on women and girls globally, as well as their crucial role in peacebuilding and conflict resolution. We’ll be joined by an amazing panel of speakers, including:
- Sally Hayden, award-winning Irish Times journalist, photographer, and author
- Riham Jafari, advocacy and communications coordinator at ActionAid Palestine (online guest speaker)
- Razan Ibraheem, Syrian journalist and human rights activist
Avila Kilmurray, community activist and peacebuilder, will act as MC for the evening.
