Fancy trying something new this autumn? Whether you’ve always wanted to garden, learn to sew, or discover how to become a more effective campaigner, ActionAid Ireland’s new Skills for Change Academy offers the perfect opportunity to learn, create and connect.
Running across three evenings this autumn, the hands-on workshops are designed for complete beginners, and anyone looking to pick up a practical new skill while meeting like-minded people.
Each session also offers a fascinating insight into how women in Ethiopia and Nepal are using these same skills to build sustainable livelihoods, tackle climate change and create lasting change in their communities through ActionAid Ireland’s Women’s Rights Programme, funded by Irish Aid.
