A special event to appreciate our loyal supporters & bring them closer to their sponsored communities
This year, we are very excited to host our ‘Celebrating our Child Sponsors & Supporters’ event in Galway and Kildare. We have chosen these locations because of the exceptionally high number of supporters in the region.
The event is to celebrate & thank our supporters, and to bring them closer to the work that we do with sponsored children and their communities. Supporters will have the chance to meet ActionAid Ireland’s board members, staff members and fellow supporters. The event promises to be lively, discussion-based and interactive – our goal is that everyone goes away feeling appreciated, informed and motivated!
We will have a very special live-link video discussion with our colleagues in the Global South who are working in the communities. The speakers will give an overview of our Irish Aid and Child Sponsorship programmes and how they work. This contribution will give all attendees a unique insight into our programmes and the impact of sponsorship on peoples’ lives.
We will also be awarding “Certificates of Recognition” to our long-term supporters with one very special award for our ‘most’ long-term supporter!
