Organise for Change

Are you an activist stuck for ideas on good poster design? Or do you want to get more involved to make a difference? Positive change starts with people coming together. This interactive workshop explores how you can create compelling and visual posters so that you can mobilise people to join your cause. At the same time learn how women are creating extraordinary change through ActionAid Ireland’s Women’s Rights Programme.

The session includes:

• Practical campaigning and community organising tips.
• Learning how to communicate a cause effectively
• A hands-on poster-making workshop with graphic designer Laura Whitehouse 

Participants will learn the basics of strong visual communication before designing and creating their own campaign posters using professional design principles.
