Taghreed – A survivor of conflict and displacement rebuilding her future.
Taghreed is a mother from Gaza who once built a small business renting children’s dresses for weddings and celebrations. She worked hard to create a better future for her family.
When violence escalated, everything changed. Taghreed and her family were forced to flee their home and seek safety in Khan Younis.There was little food, limited access to water and no stable income.
Like countless women across the region, Taghreed lost her home, her livelihood and the life she had worked so hard to build.
“We just want to live a decent life, like so many people around the world. Despite everything, I still hold on to hope.”
