ActionAid are delighted to hold a special Supporter evening on Tuesday 1st of May, 6-8pm, at the Wood Quay Venue, Dublin 8 to thank our Supporters for their wonderful support.
The event will be addressed by Deepesh Man Shakya, President of the Nepal-Ireland Society and Siobhán McGee, CEO of ActionAid Ireland. After the speakers there will be Nepalese refreshments, entertainment, and a chance to talk informally with speakers, fellow supporters. ActionAid staff will be at hand to answer any questions about our work. It’s a great opportunity to find out more about the work that your kind donations are supporting.
ActionAid Ireland has a strong relationship with our partner organisations and the communities they serve in Nepal, where we run programmes to transform the lives of communities, particularly women and children. We have also carried out humanitarian responses to recent natural disasters in Nepal including the earthquake in 2015 and the floods in 2017.
The event is free and open to anyone with an interest in ActionAid or if you would like to find out more about the work we do.
Places for the event are limited so we’d be grateful if you could please let us know as soon as possible if you are able to attend. Please click here to RSVP, or you can also give us a call on (01) 87 87 911, or email Louise at email@example.com.
We hope that you can join us for what promises to be an informative, engaging and inspiring evening!
