Since 30 March, violence in Gaza has escalated, which has killed 113 people and left 13,000 people injured. Thousands of people are in desperate need of food, clean water and sanitation.
The daily outage of electricity has affected the operation of water and sewage pumps. Frequent water shortages and raw sewage running into the sea pose a serious threat to health. Hospitals are struggling to cope with electricity shortages and fuel supplies are at critically low levels to keep up with demand.
