Donate to our Emergency Gaza Appeal

The situation in Gaza is critical.

The recent attacks damaged residential areas and essential infrastructure leaving many families without access to electricity or clean drinking water. Thousands of people have lost their homes, livelihoods and loved ones.

Half of the population of Gaza is children. Many have experienced conflict for a large part of their lives and are battling with severe trauma and emotional distress. This is not a childhood.

ActionAid’s local staff and partners are on the ground providing essential supplies and support for traumatised women and children, but we urgently need more help.

How we are responding:

ActionAid is working in Gaza City and Khan Younis with local partners to closely monitor the situation and to provide support to some of the worst-hit families.

With limited infrastructure and vital services shut, we are providing essentials supplies to individuals and families, including food, clothing, and hygiene and dignity kits (containing soap, toothbrushesmenstrual products and underwear).

We are also providing psychosocial support to women and children who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to help them recover from the constant trauma of conflict and war.

But we urgently need your help to reach more families faster.
